If I had to describe my ideal day, I think I’d probably start off by talking about an all expenses paid vacation somewhere sunny and coastal. But if that wasn’t an option, my second version of an ideal day would be having about 4-6 hours to get stuck into a weird theory or mysterious event, possibly involving research that’s so obscure that you can’t find the answers on the internet.

This kind of research is already something that I do for fun, but I thought it might be time that I start taking fun more seriously. This blog is my dumping ground for my thoughts and findings on any topic that’s mythical, mystical, spooky or esoteric, or that would fall under the general umbrella of woo-woo.

My approach to this is that I won’t be delving into things that are too deep and dark, but to keep it spooky, not scary. I also live by the belief that life is hard enough and if you want to believe something and you’re not hurting anyone, believe whatever you want. I respect people with enough of a sense of whimsy to wholeheartedly believe in things like river monsters and lizard people, sort of. So join me in my journey of finding out more. Let’s put our tinfoil hats on, together.
